Course outline
This nationally recognised training course gives participants the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently operate a Roller and work in a range of different working environments.
- Legislations and standards applicable to operating a Roller
- Risk management, control procedures & prepare for Roller operations
- Drive and operate Roller, and modify the operating technique to meet changing work conditions
- Select, remove and fit attachments
- Relocate the Roller
- Carry out machine operator maintenance
- Conduct house keeping
Course overview
- Duration: 1 to 2 days including assessment (depending on participants skill levels)
- Time: 7.00am - 3.00pm
- Cost: $495 beginners, $395 experienced (minimum 12 months) - see below for details.
- Participants must be a minimum of 17 years of age to sit the assessment, and be proficient in English
- Assessment type: Theory and Practical
- Photo ID, and wear appropriate clothing and closed in shoes
- On successfully passing, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment (SoA) and a plastic industry wallet card

Receive training & assessment in up to 5 types of earth moving equipment
