Upskill and save time

End of Financial Year is just around the corner.

It’s a good time to review your finances, claim some tax deductions and plan for the next 12 months.

If you are looking for work or already have a truck licence, the more tickets and qualifications you have,

the more employable you are in a range of industries from : construction, logistics, transport, mining and even small business.

And the more you train, the more you can save.

Upskill and Save

We have a number of training course & ticket combo deals that will save you time and money

Book your civil training and claim the cost of your nationally recognised courses through your employer or union .

It’s easy. Here's how...

1. BERT Funding - If you are a member and meet the BERT Training Fund (BTF) eligibility criteria, you can apply for a training subsidy.  There is a limit of $1500 per course.

    • You (or your employer) can apply online - visit www.btfund.org.au and select ‘Apply Here’ for Training Grants.
    • Submit your application prior to booking - allow 5 -10 days - and if successful, you will receive written confirmation of your grant and the amount to be funded.
    • Book and pay for your course online at Civil Trans Training and following completion,  submit course details and certificate to BERT for reimbursement.

2. Jetco Funding - If you are an employee and your employer makes monthly contributions to CIRT and to the JETCO training              fund on your behalf, you may be entitled to a subsidy for approved industry based training. Find out more here

3. Employer Funding – The Queensland Government provides targeted investment through a number of different vocational education and training investment programs to assist industry and employers train and upskill their current and future workforce. Visit Training Queensland to find out more.

And if these are not an option, it's worth checking with your accountant to see if you can claim any industry or work-related training on your tax return.
