Course Outline

• Safety of work area
• Load planning & characteristics
• Loading weights & equipment
• Preparing to secure cargo/containers
• Lashing and unlashing cargo
• Protecting cargo from weather
• Packing and unpacking cargo
• Completing all required documentation
• After a successful competency assessment you will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Queensland Transport and Logistics Training Pty Ltd (QTLT) NVR RTO 40931.
• A short literacy and numeracy test will be required 
• Assessment type: Theory & practical
