Light Vehicle Training

Course Overview:

  • BEGINNER Course Fees - $595
  • Duration - 1 day
  • Time - 7.00am - 3.00pm Monday to Saturday

Requirements & Details:

  • Participants must be a minimum of 17 years of age to sit the assessment, and be proficient in English
  • Participants must hold CURRENT Australian drivers licence
  • Photo ID, and wear appropriate clothing and closed in shoes
  • A short literacy and numeracy test will be required
  • Assessment type: Theory and Practical
  • After a successful competency assessment, you will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Queensland Transport and Logistics Training Pty Ltd (QTLT) NVR RTO 40931. A plastic industry wallet card is available upon request to QTLT. 

Course Outline:

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate a light vehicle in the resources and infrastructure industries and applies to those working in operational roles  

  • Plan and prepare for light vehicle operations
  • Operate light vehicle
  • Carry out operator maintenance
