Must supply either OHS/RII ticket OR VOC (minimum 12 months experience) for ALL competencies
Course Outline
This course comprises of three units of competency which have been specified by the Coal and Metalliferous Mining Safety and Health Advisory Boards for any person authorised to supervise workers on a mine. This course was formerly known as S1, S2, S3.
Plan and prepare for risk management
Identify and assess unacceptable risk and recommend risk controls
Contribute to the implementation of risk controls
Review risk management documentation
Determine the objectives and develop an investigation plan
Gather and evaluate information
Identify courses of action
Prepare and present investigation reports
Plan and prepare to communicate information
Communicate information to achieve work activity outcomes
Develop and perform work activity presentations
Participate in resolving conflicts

Requirements & Details:
Participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age to sit the assessment, and be proficient in English
Photo ID, and wear appropriate clothing and closed in shoes
A short literacy and numeracy test will be required
Assessment type: Theory and Practical
After a successful competency assessment, you will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Queensland Transport and Logistics Training Pty Ltd (QTLT) NVR RTO 40931.
