Nationally Recognised Units of Competency:
- HLTAID011 - Provide first aid
- This unit addresses the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council.
- HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- This unit addresses the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

- Participants must be a minimum of 14 years of age to sit the assessment, and be proficient in reading and writing English
- Photo ID, wear appropriate clothing and closed in shoes
- A short literacy and numeracy test will be required

- On successfully completion of being deemed competent you will receive a statement of attainment issued by QTLT RTO #40931
- HLTAID011 - Valid 3 years
- HLTAID009 - Valid 1 year
- Course includes both practical and theory elements
- Face-to-Face theory & practical training.
- Students will perform practical first aid activities.
- Students will be required to demonstrate CPR on a manikin on the floor.
